Sequoia Station Redevelopment

Location: Redwood City, CA

Project Size: Comprising over 12 acres of the 17-acre Redwood City Transit District, the Sequoia Station redevelopment proposal reinvisions the existing car-centric neighborhood shopping center into a pedestrian and bike-focused, transit-oriented residential, retail, and office development with almost two acres of community plazas. Almost one acre will be dedicated to support Caltrain’s 2040 plan to double capacity and electrify, and provide space for grade separated tracks—enabling Redwood City to connect existing neighborhoods to the core of Downtown.

Unique Characteristics: A premier downtown infill development located on one of the Bay Area’s most widely used commuter rail lines

Project Size: Approximately 5 million square feet, including approximately 100K of neighborhood serving retail, 1,800 residential homes, 3M SF of office/lab/R&D space, 10-acre public park, childcare, and community room
Unique Characteristic:  One of the largest undeveloped parcels in the heart of Silicon Valley, in close proximity to Levi’s Stadium, Light Rail, the ACE commuter line, and Caltrain
